API reference

Use an API key from dollartoken.ai against this site’s OpenAI-compatible API. Do not put secrets in frontend code or public repos. The public entry is this site — do not hit the gateway port. Models come from /v1/models and the Models page. Examples below use gemini-3-flash-preview from the current catalog.

1. Get an API key

Sign-up creates a key named default. You can also create keys under Dashboard → API Keys. The full secret is shown only once. Credit is added with redeem codes; card checkout is not live yet.

Common errors

• 401: invalid or disabled key
• 402 / insufficient balance: check the account page or redeem a code
• 429: rate limited — lower concurrency and retry
• Unknown model: call /v1/models and use a name your key can see
